Shannon and Andreas are finally married! It’s time for David’s Country Inn wedding photos! Together they threw the wedding of their dreams! They knew they wanted something romantic and custom but also close to home. So they chose David’s Country Inn for wedding photos in Hackettstown, New Jersey. This adorable wedding venue is an old Victorian style, Italian inspired, garden courtyard that is to die for! We started off our day a little rocky because a few buttons on Andrea‘s tux had fallen off! So he had to quickly run to tailor to get them hemmed. Luckily, it was a quick fix and we were able to get back to photographing their wedding day! Everything after that was fun and simple! Everything was all close by which was very helpful. We got ready in the bridal suites at the top floor of David’s Country Inn. There’s a staircase in the venue that stretches all the way up and takes you the many floors it has to offer. Shannan and her small group of bridesmaids we’re dressed and ready to go. Then, Shannan‘s maid of honor let them in a small prayer to pray for her best friend. That’s when we made the short walk over to the church where Shannan and Andrea‘s got to see each other for the first time! Walking down the aisle they smiled so big and even some tears were shed. It was a lovely mass that had people smiling and thankful that they were a part of such a beautiful moment. Once they were finally announced husband and wife, they exited the big doors where they were surrounded by a crowd of their family and friends cheering them and blowing bubbles as they descended the church staircase. It was such a beautiful moment for the couple! They we’re all smiles and kisses as they aimed up the attention. Then, it was a quick walk back to David’s Country Inn to start the food and festivities! The cocktail hour has its own room to the right with all kinds of cute rustic decor and old Victorian style windows and barrel tables and lots of wood embellishments. Once cocktail hour is over, the big doors open to reveal the brand new and updated reception area! It’s such a beautiful space full of all kinds of romantic and rustic as well as Italian style themes. It truly is a gorgeous wedding venue. The bride and groom enter the reception area separate from the bridal party. They get a grand entrance at the top of the stairs/balcony where Shannon and Andres got to descend and walk onto the middle of the dance floor to then have their first dance as husband and wife! Their band was excellent as well. Their MC knew how to keep a nice mix of 70s Classics and Spanish favorites to appeal to both the bride and the grooms families. Once the night was over, Shannan and Andreas were so sad to see us, their wedding photographers, leave. Shannan wished me luck on my future wedding (happening in just a few months). Getting to know this couple has truly been a blessing and I hope they enjoy all of the wedding photos that I shared with them. Because I took so.many.photos!
