Jamie & Corey (Old Mill Inn Wedding Photos)

February 26, 2024

Jamie and Corey got married on probably the hottest day in August that I’ve ever experienced! But man, were they troopers! Luckily at the old Mill Inn in Basking Ridge has plenty of spots for wedding photography inside. The lobby, the stairs, the lounge are all great spots to take your wedding photos. So if you’re a couple who’s worried about inclement weather – of any kind, definitely consider the Old Mill Inn for your wedding venue. These too have been together for so long and we’re so ready to get married but they had everything planned out perfectly. They had the wedding then less than a week later they moved to Virginia for Corey because he’s in the military and then they adopted a dog! This all happened within a month! I don’t know how they did it but they are just two people who know what they want and will stop at nothing to get it. They wanted to be around family and friends for their wedding day so they made sure to get married in New Jersey. That way it was easier on everyone. The speeches at this wedding were some of the most moving speeches that I’ve heard in a while. Jamie‘s niece said a few words that were lovely and then her best friend from middle school made a toast which got everyone real teary-eyed talking about all their memories and life together and how she’s going to miss her. And then Coreys friend from the military spoke and talked about what an incredible guy Cory is. And if people were misty eyed before, they were definitely crying now! It was so moving to see a couple so loved by their family and friends. Then after that sweet moment everyone was ready to party! And this was a group that had been partying together for a long time so when they hit the dance floor, all bets are off! DJ had everyone packed on the Dancefloor playing all the best hits. It was a good mix of oldies, all these for millennials and current Dance must haves! I love getting to photograph the reception when it’s time to dance. The bride and the groom are just so ready to finally let loose and enjoy their wedding day and every time it is so fun to watch! I’m so glad these two had an amazing day and I wish them all the best!
