Summer Wedding Time!
When I dream of fun rustic, summer weddings, I definitely think of Kelly and Tom’s wedding! It’s time to check out Perona Farms wedding photos! They chose the barn at Perona Farms in Andover / Sparta New Jersey to host their wedding day celebration! I absolutely love this venue! Kelly and Tom really wanted a down to earth, chill, rustic wedding vibe and they definitely nailed it!
The Barn at Perona Farms has a style that’s all its own! Every detail is curated to give you that chic, rustic barn aesthetic that’s perfect for weddings. The whole day was so fun for these two! They got ready in site onsite bridal suites and had their first look under the willow tree. Literally one of my favorite photography spots at the venue! They were so excited to finally see each other that they held each other for so long.
Long Time Friends
Their bridal party was also the ultimate hype group! They each had friends that stretch back to middle school and elementary school. They were just as excited to see their friends get married! Tom’s dad is so creative and talented, he actually carved the wooden bowtie that Tom wore for his wedding attire! I mean look how cool it is! What a sweet sentiment and gift to give your son on his wedding day. After all the wedding photos wrapped up, it was time for the ceremony!
They got married on site, right outside the barn, underneath a white birch arbor – decorated with beautiful custom florals. After they said ‘I do’, they walked down the aisle with a bubble exit! From there, it was on to cocktail hour. Perona Farms pulls out all the stops for all its’ weddings when it comes to food! No matter if you’re at the Barn, the Refinery – the food is absolutely amazing! There’s a pizza station, a meat and cheese section, there’s the best pasta I’ve ever had, they have pleated hors d’oeuvres and passed custom signature drinks.
Reception time!
Once you’re done filling up at the cocktail hour everyone headed upstairs to the reception area to enjoy the reception! Then it was time to dance! Kelley and Tom had a band that had everyone on the dance floor partying all night! There were cowboy boots, sunglasses, their were people busting a move left and right! It was literally such a fun day to celebrate their love. And my favorite part was when we got to sneak out for some sunset photos.
OMG The sunset in Sparta, right in front of the Barn, is absolute perfection! I mean just look at those sunset photos! Perona Farms wedding photos are always best taken at sunset! I always feel honored as a wedding photographer getting to capture these beautiful moments in peoples lives. I love watching through my camera just how truly happy couples are to declare their love for one another and then celebrate with all of their family and friends.

The Barn at Perona Farms is the perfect rustic wedding venue spot in New Jersey! It’s located in Andover / Sparta and sits on about a dozen acres of land. There are plenty of spots to take your wedding photos all within walking distance. But they also have golf carts available! The Barn is great all year round too! Spring, summer, fall – the way the sun sets on the Barn and filters through the trees, creates a perfect backdrop for all your wedding photos. Decorating the inside of the Barn for your wedding reception is also super easy! You can either DIY your own things such as centerpieces; you can really give it your own style by just adding all kinds of flowers, candles or even hay-bales for a more rustic / elegant theme. There’s space for a band to play and room to dance and give your cowboy boots something to dance to! I highly recommend Perona Farms in NJ to be your wedding venue!
