Although the weather had other plans, their day unfolded with the kind of love and joy that no rain could ever dampen.

A Special Start in the Sweetest Cabin

We began the day tucked inside the cozy bridal cabin, where Karin got ready with her mother by her side. As soon as I walked in, the quiet joy in the room was undeniable. Even more meaningful—Karin’s wedding dress was handmade by her mother. So naturally, when her mom gently buttoned her into the gown she had lovingly crafted, it was a moment full of happy tears.

Meanwhile, Mike prepared for the big day just steps away in the blacksmith cabin. The large open door flooded the space with soft, natural light—the perfect touch for a light and airy setting. He stood calmly, adjusting his bowtie, while the anticipation built for the moment he would finally see his bride.

First Look with Umbrellas & Tears

Soon after, the rain began to fall. Although we had hoped for golden sunshine, the weather gifted us something else entirely: an intimate, heartfelt first look under clear umbrellas. As Mike turned to see Karin, both of them burst into happy tears—tears that added to the rain, but in the best possible way. Their connection was so genuine, so tender, it made the whole scene feel beautifully cinematic.

Even with the drizzle, we took a lovely walk around the garden areas. Between the winding paths, fragrant florals, and soft raindrops, it felt like something out of a fairytale.
