Andréa & Stephen’s Winter Wedding at Valley Regency in Clifton, NJ

Early December brought the most magical start to Andréa and Stephen’s elegant Valley Regency wedding in Clifton, New Jersey. A light snowfall dusted the grounds that morning, creating a soft winter glow that felt straight out of a holiday movie. Between the cozy Christmas touches, the peaceful morning energy, and the fresh snow covering the estate, their wedding day felt warm, romantic, and incredibly special.

From beginning to end, the day flowed effortlessly with heartfelt moments, joyful laughter, and beautiful winter light. It was the perfect blend of elegance and celebration, all wrapped in a cozy holiday atmosphere that made everything feel even more meaningful.

A Calm and Cozy Winter Morning With Loved Ones

Because Andréa and Stephen planned a morning wedding, we started the day early, but it never once felt rushed. The getting-ready moments were calm, quiet, and filled with so much love as friends and family gathered together. Everyone wore festive Christmas pajamas, which made the whole morning feel extra cozy and fun.

Andréa spent time laughing with her bridesmaids while little ones ran around the room full of excitement. With so many children attending the wedding, the energy felt joyful and warm, almost like a family holiday gathering. It truly set the tone for such a beautiful day ahead.

A Bride That Sparkled Like Winter Snow

Once Andréa was ready, we took a few quiet portraits of her in her stunning beaded wedding gown. The dress featured intricate lace details and a long flowing train that shimmered beautifully in the soft winter light. It honestly sparkled like fresh snow or a Christmas tree glowing with white lights.

We even included one of her flower girls, who was dressed all in white and ready to toss her petals down the aisle. Nearby, the ring bearers were getting dressed with the help of their dad, including one tiny baby ring bearer, which was the sweetest sight. With 27 kids attending the wedding, these moments added so much heart and personality to the day.

A Sweet Church Ceremony Full of Emotion

Once everyone was ready, we headed down the road to their church for the ceremony. The space was bright and welcoming with tall ceilings and an open, airy feel that made everything feel peaceful and intimate. As Andréa walked down the aisle, both she and Stephen couldn’t hold back their tears.

There was so much excitement and emotion in the room as they stood together and exchanged vows. You could truly feel how happy they were to finally be sharing this moment. After sealing it with a kiss, they walked back down the aisle hand in hand, smiling ear to ear as husband and wife.

Romantic Portraits Around Valley Regency

After a few photos at the church, we made our way back to the elegant Valley Regency wedding venue to explore the beautiful grounds. Every corner of the estate is stunning in every season, and winter made it feel especially romantic. We captured portraits by the koi pond, near the large white arbor, and along the elegant staircases.

One of my favorite moments was photographing them with Stephen’s dad’s vintage white Corvette. It made for such a fun and unique photo opportunity, especially with the “Just Married” flags waving from the windows. It was one of those personal touches that made their wedding day feel even more special.

A Celebration Full of Tradition, Laughter, and Dancing

Cocktail hour was filled with incredible food, from delicious appetizers to a beautiful raw bar that guests absolutely loved. Soon after, Andréa and Stephen entered the reception without big formal introductions, keeping things relaxed and intimate. They were welcomed to a table with their parents, where a special Polish tradition took place.

On the table sat bread, salt, and two shot glasses, one filled with water and one with vodka. Each of them chose a glass, and whoever picked the vodka was declared the head of the household. It was such a fun and surprising moment that had everyone laughing and cheering.

A Dance Floor Full of Joy (and a Sunset Surprise)

Their first dances were filled with emotion, but Andréa and her dad truly stole the show. They broke into a choreographed dance packed with spins, twirls, and huge smiles that had everyone clapping along. It was such a joyful moment that perfectly reflected Andréa’s fun-loving spirit.

Soon the dance floor was packed with both adults and kids dancing together, laughing, and celebrating all night long. As the sun began to set, Andréa changed into her second wedding dress, and we snuck outside for sunset portraits. The winter sky created the dreamiest light, and those photos ended up being some of my favorites from the entire day
