(David’s Country Inn Wedding) Jaclyn & Nick

February 23, 2026

Jaclyn and Nick’s Sunny Fall Afternoon Historic Style Wedding At David’s Country Inn

There is something truly special about a fall wedding, and Jaclyn and Nick’s David’s Country Inn Wedding in Hackettstown, NJ was nothing short of magical. With warm October sunshine, historic charm, and timeless elegance, their wedding day felt like it came straight out of a classic romance novel.

First and foremost, David’s Country Inn is one of those venues that immediately makes you fall in love. Dating back nearly 300 years, this historic inn is filled with vintage character and old-world charm. The exposed beams, the iconic wooden bar, and the stunning Tiffany glass windows create such a warm and elegant atmosphere. Undoubtedly, it’s one of the most unique wedding venues in New Jersey and the perfect setting for Jaclyn and Nick’s celebration.

Getting Ready at David’s Country Inn

At this time, the entire wedding day took place right at the venue, which made everything feel relaxed and seamless. The girls got ready upstairs in one suite while the guys prepared across the hall in another.

Meanwhile, Jaclyn and her bridesmaids slipped into matching dusty blue pajama sets, while Jaclyn wore a soft white silk robe. They gathered together, laughed, cheered, and toasted to the future bride. The room was filled with excitement and joy.

On the other hand, Nick and his groomsmen helped each other into their tuxes while enjoying a pre-ceremony drink. It was a sweet moment of friendship and support as they prepared to stand beside Nick on one of the biggest days of his life.

Elegant Details and Timeless Style

Before the ceremony, I photographed their beautiful flat-lay details. Everything was simple, refined, and classic. White florals, lush greenery, soft lace, gold jewelry accents, and elegant invitations came together perfectly.

In addition to this, Jaclyn and Nick included such thoughtful personal touches. They had custom matchboxes featuring their wedding date and a sketch of the venue, along with personalized wooden coasters. These small details made their day feel even more meaningful.

Jaclyn’s gown was absolutely stunning. It was fully beaded with touches of lace throughout, thick straps, and a long elegant lace train that flowed beautifully behind her. She truly glowed. Moreover, she even had two pairs of shoes. One for portraits and one for dancing the night away!

Nick looked equally timeless in a classic black tux with a black bow tie and white boutonniere. Importantly, he wore custom gold cufflinks that belonged to his grandfather, adding such a heartfelt personal element to his look.

Bridal Party Portraits and a Sweet Church Ceremony

Previously, before heading to the church, we captured bridal party photos on the grounds of David’s Country Inn. The bridesmaids wore dusty blue satin gowns, while the maid of honor stood out in a slightly lighter blue patterned dress that still tied everything together beautifully.

Shortly after, we headed to a charming stone church just five minutes away. It was small, historic, and filled with warmth. As Jaclyn walked down the aisle with her father, Nick immediately began to cry. Clearly, he was completely overwhelmed with love for his bride.

They shared a heartfelt full mass ceremony, exchanged vows, and finally said “I do.” Their first kiss as husband and wife was met with cheers and happy tears all around.

Following this, guests lined the church steps and blew bubbles as Jaclyn and Nick exited together, laughing, kissing, and celebrating their new life together!

Romantic Portraits Back at David’s Country Inn

Subsequently, we returned to David’s Country Inn for portraits and these were truly some of my favorite images of the year! The ivy-covered walls, black doors, and tall windows created such a timeless backdrop. Jaclyn and Nick fit together so effortlessly. The sunlight wrapped around them as the afternoon softened, making everything glow.

Particularly magical were the veil shots. As the breeze gently lifted Jaclyn’s long veil and the sun filtered through, the moment felt straight out of a Renaissance painting. Without a doubt, it was pure romance.

This portion of the day perfectly captured why I love photographing a David’s Country Inn Wedding. The light, the textures, and the history create such stunning imagery.

Cocktail Hour and a Glamorous Reception

After all the portraits, it was finally time for cocktail hour. Guests gathered in the classic bar room, enjoying drinks and appetizers surrounded by Tiffany glass windows and vintage charm.

Meanwhile, the reception space felt elegant and luxurious. The dark walls created a black-tie feel that paired beautifully with white florals, gold accents, and glowing candelabras. It truly looked like something straight out of a magazine.

Jaclyn and Nick made their grand entrance down the staircase before moving right into their first dance. Nick twirled Jaclyn around, lifted her up, and they both laughed and kissed as their family and friends cheered. Following some heartfelt speeches, the dance floor officially opened and it stayed packed all night! ERE Entertainment brought the energy, and everyone celebrated nonstop.

A Perfect Ending to a Beautiful Day

Last but not least, the entire evening was filled with love, laughter, and joyful moments shared between family and friends. It was the perfect ending to such a romantic celebration.

Jaclyn and Nick, thank you so much for trusting me to capture your beautiful David’s Country Inn Wedding. It was truly an honor to document such a timeless and joyful day. I wish you both a lifetime filled with love, laughter, and endless happiness.
