Christine and Sam’s journey is one such story that touched my heart! After an enchanting engagement session in Point Pleasant, I eagerly anticipated their wedding day at The Mill Lakeside Manor in Spring Lake. The anticipation was worth it—the day was even more magical than I imagined!

A Beautiful Start to a Beautiful Day

Christine started her day at a stunning house in Spring Lake Heights, surrounded by her 11 bridesmaids, her mother, and her mother-in-law. The house was perfect for photos, featuring a gorgeous spiral staircase, an open-concept layout, and a beautiful sunny backyard. Christine was a picture of calm and joy, mimosa in hand, ready to embrace every moment of her special day.

Meanwhile, Sam, just as excited, was getting ready with my second shooter. They celebrated with toasts, eagerly anticipating the moment Sam would see his bride. Sam and Christine’s love story is truly unique—Christine had harbored a crush on Sam since elementary school. Then, after going their separate ways, Christine’s mother asked her in 2020 if there was someone she thought would be the perfect partner, and Christine immediately thought of Sam. As a result, his revelation made the day feel like a culmination of fate and long-held dreams.

First Look and Bridal Party Fun at Divine Park

Later, their first look at Divine Park was a moment to remember. On the long wooden bridge, Sam’s eyes lit up as he saw Christine in her stunning wedding dress. As a result, we captured beautiful moments there, followed by bridal party photos. With a group of 24, it was a lively and joyous scene, filled with laughter and celebration.

Then, arriving at The Mill Lakeside Manor, we took family and bridal group photos, including some of my favorites on their iconic dock. The setting was enhanced by the unexpected appearance of two swans, playfully dubbed “Sonny and Cher” by a bridal attendant. Even so, they seemed to pose for the camera, adding a whimsical touch to the shoot.

A Lakeside Ceremony and Joyful Reception

The lakeside ceremony at The Mill Lakeside Manor was breathtaking! The beautifully landscaped area, adorned with vibrant flowers and a large arch, set the perfect stage for Christine and Sam to exchange personal vows. The heartfelt words brought laughter and tears, resulting in a huge celebration as they were declared husband and wife.

The reception was equally vibrant! The bridal party entered with playful energy—the girls waving sea blue napkins, the boys in a conga line, and a fun twist where the girls “iced” the boys. As a result, the atmosphere was electric, with everyone dancing and celebrating Christine and Sam’s union. The night was filled with joyful moments, from their enchanting first dance to the lively dance floor that seemed to pulsate with love and laughter.

The highlight was the guest phone book, an old rotary phone where guests left voice messages for the couple—a unique and nostalgic touch that captured the day’s emotions beautifully.
