Held in early May at the breathtaking Envue Hotel in Weehawken, NJ, this chic celebration was a true vision of beauty, love, and high-end detail.

Planning a wedding is no small feat, especially when you’re doing it from a different state and time zone! Michaela and Ruben now live in Texas, but they came back to the Northeast to celebrate with their closest family and friends. Despite a week of gloomy weather forecasts, the sun came through—just in time for their outdoor ceremony. Thankfully, the rain held off, and we were able to take full advantage of the rooftop views for their portraits, complete with the sparkling Manhattan skyline behind them.

Their choice of venue was intentional and inspired. The rooftop ceremony space gave guests a panoramic skyline experience, and even cocktail hour was held on the rooftop an effortlessly chic touch that elevated the entire day. Michaela and Ruben looked absolutely stunning: Ruben wore a custom dark green suit jacket lined with a watercolor landscape and accessorized with a meaningful gold cross chain, a family heirloom that added depth and sentiment. Michaela wore a jaw-dropping gown with a corset bodice and evolving details. She styled it throughout the day with off-the-shoulder sleeves, then elegant lace sleeves, and finally, a gorgeous lace veil. As a result, Each look felt like its own moment, and together they were flawless.
