Amanda and Gordon’s wedding at Grand Cascade Lodge in Crystal Springs was the perfect blend of joyful color, emotional moments, and high-end elegance. On a golden October day with sunshine beaming down and fall foliage glowing in every direction, their celebration came to life in the most unforgettable way. While the leaves may have been autumn-hued, their color palette was bursting with bright, cheerful tones—peach, coral, light blue, green, pink, and white came together to create the most stunning, unexpected fall wedding design.

Getting Ready with Champagne and Happy Tears

We began the day inside the hotel rooms at the venue, which made everything feel seamless and stress-free. Amanda and her bridesmaids sipped champagne in matching satin pajamas, laughing and cheering as the final moments of getting ready unfolded. Amanda’s mother couldn’t hold back her tears when she saw her daughter fully dressed as a bride—it was a beautiful, emotional moment that set the tone for the day.

Meanwhile, Gordon was getting ready just a few floors away, his excitement building with every moment.

An Emotional First Look at the Quarry

Their first look took place at the Quarry, a scenic and serene corner of the Grand Cascade Lodge property. When Gordon turned around and saw Amanda, he was completely in awe. They held onto each other tightly and shared personal vows, speaking softly through teary eyes. Yet for every tear, there was a smile—and a whole lot of love.

Afterward, we took bride and groom portraits around the venue. The wind danced through Amanda’s veil, creating the most dramatic, romantic movement that made each photo feel like a fairytale moment. Her dress flowed effortlessly as she leaned into Gordon, laughing and twirling through the golden light.

A Stylish Bridal Party with Fall Flair

Next, we joined their incredibly fun and fashionable bridal party. The groomsmen looked classic in black while the bridesmaids stunned in hunter green. With the rich fall foliage as their backdrop, the entire group looked like they stepped out of a magazine. And just for fun, everyone pulled out matching sunglasses for a few playful shots—posing, laughing, and showing off their vibrant personalities.

A Golden Hour Ceremony in the Garden

Soon, it was time for the ceremony in the lovely garden area overlooking the golf course. The floral arch was a true work of art, decorated with Amanda and Gordon’s signature colors and textures. As the sun dipped lower in the sky, it cast a soft, golden glow over the ceremony space. With heartfelt vows and a joyful first kiss, they officially became husband and wife.

Before heading into the reception, we stole away for sunset portraits—and what a show the sky put on! Once again, Amanda’s veil danced on the breeze, and they couldn’t stop holding each other, laughing, and sneaking kisses. The energy was pure magic.

Inside the ballroom, elegance reigned. The reception space at Grand Cascade Lodge was nothing short of stunning. Crystal chandeliers, luxurious floral centerpieces, and the warm glow of candlelight created a dreamy, romantic ambiance.

Amanda and Gordon entered the room to a roar of applause, and from there, the party never slowed down. From their emotional first dance to the wild energy on the dance floor, guests were having the time of their lives. And in one of the most iconic moments of the night, Gordon literally jumped up on the speakers to perform Bruce Springsteen for their guests—it was bold, fun, and so them!
